Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 just finished few days ago, I could say that so many improvement on the event. As you all know in my previous post, I support the "Local Movement" campaign by wearing traditional batik in a modern way. Is that enough? Not yet! To support "Local Movement" we all (Indonesian people) should proud  and support our local designer to rock the world, and let the world pay more attention to us in fashion. I'm glad to see young and talented new comer designer at Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 Day 1 show, IFW2014 was held Indonesia Fashion Design Competition 2014.

Batik Chic: Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 Outfit

On the first day of Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 I was wearing traditional batik Solo shirt to support "Local Movement" as Indonesia Fashion Week's campaign. I'm still in my own track to re-mix-ing the batik in a modern way with clothes that I have in my wardrobe. Since inspiration can come from everywhere. I totally got inspired by male designer, He is Marc Jacobs the one who loves wearing a skirt. Then menswear fashion show gives me an extra energy and courage to wear the skirt from like runway looks to the street.

Indonesia Fashion Week 2013 MOMENT

A little refreshment and flashback to Indonesia Fashion Week 2013. I had a lovely moment during Indonesia Fashion Week 2013 last year. Met my old friend Reinita Arlin who became Miss Tourism 2012, Paco De Jaimes the CEO of World Fashion Week, my uni friends, some snapshoot from fashion show and being covered by the major street style Indonesia website. I'm looking forward to another awesome moments from Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 this year. Enjoy my flashback moment here :)

Common People Question

Mr. Rebel in a mission to hit up 'Bangkok' town with my rebelicious attitude completed by wearing pairs of edgy boots from H&M. Picking casual yet comfortable outfit like denim on vacation (it's a must) and bring a big bag on vacation (it's a must too!).  For environment reasons, I prefer bring my own bag than having to get plastic bag from every store when my passion for shopping peaked. Not only because many 'NEW' stuffs / goods can fit into my backpack, but also can put my camera inside the bag. Uh, I don't like being bothered by carrying many plastic bags. So bye bye plastic bag :P

Lady Gaga covers Harper's Bazaar US - March 2014 Issue

Lady Gaga is hoping 2014 will be a good year. The 27-year-old singer admits in the March issue of Harper's Bazaar that she had a tough 2013 following the mixed reviews and disappointing sales of her ARTPOP album, a public split from longtime manager, Troy Carter, and a very public backlash. "I went through a rough time last year," she revealed. "I felt very taken advantage of by people I trusted." Gaga -- looking gorgeous and glam on the magazine's cover taken by famed photographer Terry Richardson -- said she's in a better place now and has learned some valuable lessons.

Exploring The City

My real life takes over everything. I mean in our 'temporary' life, we only have a limited time to do anything we want. I just back from a short trip Bangkok with my friend and purposely didn't update my blog for a while there, due to our full schedule we had. Bangkok was so great anyway! Despite the fact that Bangkok looks like Jakarta, what I saw from the windows in my hotel room are big buildings.
