Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 Day 1: "UNLOCKING POTENTIALS" INDONESIA FASHION DESIGN COMPETITION 2014

Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 just finished few days ago, I could say that so many improvement on the event. As you all know in my previous post, I support the "Local Movement" campaign by wearing traditional batik in a modern way. Is that enough? Not yet! To support "Local Movement" we all (Indonesian people) should proud  and support our local designer to rock the world, and let the world pay more attention to us in fashion. I'm glad to see young and talented new comer designer at Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 Day 1 show, IFW2014 was held Indonesia Fashion Design Competition 2014.

Jakarta Fashion Week 2014: TEX SAVERIO (Ready To Wear)

"Fantasy made Reality" is the theme of TEX SAVERIO ready to wear first collection. Inspired by wearability while keeping the brand's widely known DNA with exquisite details and craftsmanship.

IKAT Indonesia by Didiet Maulana

Grey, black, and metalic dominated the collection of IKAT Indonesia by Didiet Maulana. Modern pattern and all color that reflects the exotic nuance towards a full moon. Collection be shown tops, dresses (mini and maxi), outwears, pipe pants, coats, varsity jackets, even jumpers! Coupled with a mix of modern materials that adds fashion archipelago.

Thing that I remember the most about this fashion show is when the first face model coming out from backstage is Ria Juwita (The Famous Top Model Indonesia) & she also the lastest face on finale (look at the photo below, she's holding a balloon). You can google her name if you want to know more.

ZARA Spring Summer 2013

 

When I'm sitting in the front row to watch ZARA Spring Summer 2013 fashion show, I prefer to capture the detail shoot from their collection, not all over the looks! Just like MANGO fashion show, I've seen so many bright color everywhere. Yes, because it's Spring Summer collection. No wonder, bright color is back! There are so many floral patterns on fashion show. What do you guys think about ZARA Spring Summer 2013 collections?
