On the first day of Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 I was wearing traditional batik Solo shirt to support "Local Movement" as Indonesia Fashion Week's campaign. I'm still in my own track to re-mix-ing the batik in a modern way with clothes that I have in my wardrobe. Since inspiration can come from everywhere. I totally got inspired by male designer, He is Marc Jacobs the one who loves wearing a skirt. Then menswear fashion show gives me an extra energy and courage to wear the skirt from like runway looks to the street.
Just for your information, the fact is a skirt & wig was made for men in the very first time before it became commonly worn by women. Isn't funny, huh? Speaking about wig, NO NO NO! I wasn't wearing a wig in the photos. Seriously, that's actually my real hair now. I used to covered all my hair with hat or bind it. Surprise? Hahaha ~ People might think that I'm weirdo, but I don't think so. Hhhmm, I like unthinkable things. Why are skirts for women and pants are for both genders? Women wear pants, so let men wear skirt! WEIRD OR WONDERFUL?
